MLA Amul Kandasamy donates Rs. 2 lakh worth of equipment to Valparai Government Hospital
Coimbatore: MLA Amul Kandasamy has donated various euipment worth Rs. 2 lakhs, including UPS, beds and cots to the Coronavirus treatment center at Valparai Government Hospital.
With the pandemic on the rise, a Coronavirus treatment center is being set up at Valparai Arts College. Valparai MLA Amul Kandasamy inspected the Valparai Government Hospital where a doctor had requested a UPS for the hospital to treat patients without power cuts. In this context, a review meeting was held at the Valparai Municipal Office on Wednesday where MLA Amul Kandasamy handed over Rs. 2 lakh worth equipment for the UPS and needed beds, as well as other essential equipment to Government Hospital doctors.


He also lauded the field staff, doctors, hospital staff and health department staff who continued to toil tirelessly to fight the pandemic to save lives. The event was attended by Valparai AIADMK City Secretary, Mayil Ganesan and Municipal Commissioner Suresh Kumar and other party members.
