14.25 litres of liquor from other states seized; Two arrested in Nilgiris
The Nilgiris: Gudalur police inspected vehicles at the subdivision Kakanalla check post in Nilgiris district on Tuesday.
While inspecting a vehicle loaded with vegetables that was heading towards Kandhal, it was found that there were liquor bottles from other states in it. Police arrested the motorists and seized 14.25 litres liquor from them.
Ravi (28) and Saravana Senthil (39) from Kandhal were arrested for illegally transporting 38 bottles of liquor which were seized from them by the police and a case was registered.
