People disappointed as vaccination drives halted in Kinathukadavu due to lack of stock
Coimbatore: Vaccination drives against Covid-19 have been been suspended for the past three days due to lack of stock, according to health officials.
Covid-19 vaccination had been administered to people between the ages of 18 and 45 in Tamil Nadu this past month and the vaccination drives were also being done at Nallattipalayam Primary Health Center and Kinathukadavu Government Hospital in Kinathukkadavu, Coimbatore District. Over a 1000 people in Kinathukadavu area had been vaccinated against the virus.
Just as people were beginning to voluntarily register in large numbers for the vaccination against Covid-19, stocks had run dry and hence vaccination drives had to be halted which left people extremely disappointed. The public are now demanding for vaccines against Covid-19 to be kept in stock and hastened for those who are yet to be vaccinated.
