Dravidar Panpattu Kootam protests condemning Union Minister in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: The Dravidar Panpattu Kootam protested in front of the Coimbatore District Collector's Office against Union Minister Praful Patel.

Later while addressing the media, Venmani, the leader of the Dravidar Panpattu Kootam said, "We strongly condemn the RSS's entry into Lakshadweep after the appointment of Praful Patel, a former BJP legislator from Gujarat and Deputy Home Minister of Gujarat as Lakshadweep Special Officer. He has recently enacted a variety of laws called NDRs on the pretext of preventing offenders, enacting legislation in line with the National Security Act, punishable by 10 years' imprisonment. Also he has prohibited serving beef for school children for daily lunch and prohibited the feeding of beef,eating or selling beef with a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment. Praful Patel has been working against the Constitution of India. We, on behalf of the Dravidr Panpattu Kootam protest against this," he added."
