EssEmm Corporation facilitates distribution of 100 units of Oxygen Concentrators in Coimbatore District through Rotary Club of Coimbatore Spectrum
Coimbatore: 400 units of oxygen concentrators which are a high priority for patients during Covid-19 times are donated by Ess Emm Corporation Coimbatore in association with The TzuChi Foundation, Taiwan to The Tamil Nadu Government. These concentrators were sent to Coimbatore considering the increasing number of Covid cases in the city at present.

The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Spectrum is associated with Ess Emm group in providing these concentrators as part of their CSR activity. The Club has taken the initiative to be part of this project and to distribute the first 100 Units in Coimbatore through the Coimbatore Collectorate to ESI Hospitals which in turn would allocate it to various PHCs as required and allotted by the Government.

The first lot of 100 oxygen concentrators were handed over by Rtn. Satish Nair along with members of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore, Spectrum Rtn. Sanjay Shah and Rtn. Murali Balakrishnan to the District in the presence of R Sakkarapani, the Minister of Food and Civil Supplies and K Ramachandran, the Minister of Environment and Forests Department. The total cost of the project is Rs. 2 crores and the remaining 300 concentrators are expected to arrive within a week’s time.

The TzuChi foundation and Satheesh Kumar of the Meenu Mix Family and founder of Ess Emm Corporation have contributed 600 units of oxygen concentrators worth Rs. 3 crores. 400 units have been allocated to Tamil Nadu and 200 to Kerala.

First lot of 100 units handed were handed to the TN Government in the presence of Udayananidhi Stalin and MP Dr. Tamilachi Thangapandian.
