Coimbatore corporation to appoint 25 temporary doctors to fight Covid-19


Coimbatore: According to an order issued by Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M. Kumaravel Pandian, 25 doctors will be appointed on temporary basis in the district to fight against Covid-19.

Saying that the minimum requirements of the applicants have to have MBBS degree, the commissioner instructed through letter that they will be asked to work for three months from June.Each doctors appointed will be given rupees 60,000 as remuneration per month and the interview for it will be held at Corporation office on May 31.

The requirements of temporary doctors at this time has been witnessed in several districts in the state where cases have been skyrocketing earlier. However, the requirements of the same in Coimbatore district has come at a time when the daily tally touches new height each day. The civic body also instructed that applicants may come for the interview along with Educational certificates, Caste certificates, Aadhar card and Residential address.
