Covid-19 Assistance Center set up at Pollachi Government Hospital for inquiries and medical assistance regarding Coronavirus
Coimbatore: Coimbatore district has the highest number of coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu. The spread of the disease in Pollachi area is increasing day by day and health officials are taking various measures to control this.
However, awareness of the coronavirus has waned among the general public. As people with mild symptoms are reluctant to come to hospitals an assistance center has been set up at the Pollachi Government Hospital to rectify this.
The public can contact the helpline number 94887 88090 for inquiries and advice on Coronavirus. Help desks have been set up for those with mild symptoms to access primary health care facilities in rural areas, for people to inquire about home isolation and to inquire about the details of beds for those with symptoms at government hospitals and coronavirus treatment centers.
Pollachi DMK Secretary Dr. Varadarajan inaugurated the center today. Many people including government doctors participated in it.
