Valparai Municipality intensifies disinfection work
Coimbatore: The second wave of coronavirus is spreading fast in Valparai, Coimbatore district. So far 218 people have been affected.
The health department has taken various measures to control this. Checkpoints have been set up around the town of Valparai on behalf of the Revenue and Police to control the crowd.

They are also involved in various awareness campaigns. Today, led by health inspector Selvaraj on behalf of the municipal health department the works of spraying disinfectants in shops in the city with modern machinery on areas like doors and windows was carried out. Municipal health officials continue to spray disinfectants on tea plantations by vehicles to control spread of infection.
