Police impose fines on those who roam unnecessarily in Valparai
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has declared a complete lockdown to control the second wave of the coronavirus. As part of this the bank and ration shops, dairy, pharmacies are allowed to operate. Due to this, a large number of people are crowding to Valparai.
The Valparai police led by Inspector Maheshwari have set up barricades and are conducting vehicle checks and recording the numbers of incoming vehicles.
Vehicles entering unnecessarily are sent back. They are fined and action is taken against those who walk unnecessarily on the roads. Due to this, the movement of people in Valparai has decreased significantly.
