Consultative meeting held at Chennai General Secretariat to discuss further preventive measures to curb Covid-19 second wave
Chennai: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin chaired a meeting at the Chennai General Secretariat to discuss further preventive measures to be taken by voluntary organizations to work with the Government in curbing the spread of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A state-level coordinating committee had been set up on April 19 to work with voluntary organizations to eradicate Covid-19. Following this, district level committees have been set up to cooperate with district administration and voluntary organizations.
This State Level Coordinating Committee is functional at the War Room - Unified Command Center at the National Health Operations Complex, Thenampet. Voluntary charities, individuals and large businesses are requested to register themselves at https://ucc.uhcitp.in/ngoregistration and engage in voluntary work to help the people.
