District Collector inspects Covid-19 containment zones in Nilgiris district
The Nilgiris: District Collector Innocent Divya visited and inspected the Covid-19 containment zones in Coonoor Municipality and Panchayat Union areas of Nilgiris District.
In the light of the rapid spread of the second wave of Covid-19, various preventive measures are being taken on behalf of the Nilgiris district administration. District Collector Innocent Divya personally visited and inspected the infected areas of Ambedkar Nagar, MGR Nagar, Dannington, Gandhipuram and Ottupattarai areas of Coonoor Municipality and Panchayat Union. She enquired of the authorities on the implementation of the Covid-19 preventive measures. Coonoor Collector Ranjit Singh, Municipal Commissioner Balamurugan and Coonoor Panchayat Union Regional Development Officer, Sridhar were among the officials present.
