Church of South India launches food distribution program for the poor who have been affected by complete lockdown in Valparai
Coimbatore: The Church of South India officials in Valparai have launched a program to provide food to the poor who have been affected by the complete lockdown imposed by the Tamil Nadu Government.
The church has assured that the project would continue throughout the lockdown to help the needy.
Pollachi MP Shanmuga Sundaram inaugurated the food distribution program in front of the CSI campus in Valparai on Tuesday afternoon.
He was accompanied by District Secretary Thenral Selvaraj, City Secretary Attorney Paul Pandi, CSI members, former City Council Chairman Kozhikadai Ganesan, Trade Wing Joint Secretary JPR Bhaskar, Magudeeswaran and former Councilor Selvam, Sathyamoorthy.
