Roads deserted with no movement of people on second day of complete lockdown in Kinathukadavu
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has imposed a week-long curfew from Mondaydue to the rising incidence of coronavirus in the state. Shops across the Kinathukadavu area of Coimbatore district were closed yesterdaydue to a complete lockdown.

Similarly, on the 2nd day of the complete lockdown, the roads in the Kinathukadavu area were deserted without any movement of people.

The busy areas of Coimbatore Pollachi Road, RS Road, Veerappagavundanur Road and Checkpost in the Kinathukadavu area were deserted. Kinathukadavu police also set up barricades in front of the old bus stand and engaged in surveillance.
