As part of this, Anaimalai East Union DMK Secretary Yuvaraj led a program today to provide essential items to about 100 families living in Chinnar Pathi and Navamalai areas near Azhiyar.
Coimbatore South District DMK functionary Thendral Selvaraj who was present at the occasion distributed relief items to the tribal people. The DMK has also stated that relief measures are being taken to provide relief items to the people who have lost their livelihood during the ongoing drought.
