Coimbatore: Coronavirus infection is increasing day by day in the estates surrounding Valparai in Coimbatore district. To date, 165 people have been diagnosed and treated for corona infection and of these, 13 died.
People coming from the estate areas around Valparai area are increasing, There are four lanes from Valparai to the Estate area like Sirukundra Road, Stanmore Junction Road around Valparai Puthuthottam Road and Nadumalai Road.
The Valparai Police have set up checkpoints on behalf of the Revenue Department to check the movement of people between Valparai and estate area
