Police investigate regarding a half-burned skull that was found on Vellalore Road in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Residents in Vellalore Road area of Singanallur in Coimbatore were horrified to see a half-burned skull lying on the side of one of the main roads in Coimbatore.
The residents immediately informed the Singanallur police who rushed to the spot, took the skull and sent it for autopsy.
The police are investigating whether stray dogs could have picked up the half-burned skull from the cemetery or if somebody had been burned and the half-burned skull thrown aside. There was a commotion in the area until the skull was removed from the area by the police.
