Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the Corona Special Treatment Center which has additional bed facilities at the CODISSIA campus on Thursday and also reviewed ongoing Covid-19 prevention drives in Coimbatore district.
The CM inspected bed facilities at the treatment center and discussed about various treatment options for Covid-19 with doctors and health workers.
Two Corona Treatment Centers already operate in the Codissia campus and now two treatment centers with additional 473 bed facilities have been started, in addition to bed facilities available for Sidha treatment.
Earlier, businessmen from Coimbatore met the Chief Minister M K Stalin in person and handed over their generous donations toward the Cm's Public Relief Fund fo curbing Covid-19.
Following this, the Chief Minister also inspected bed facilities created at Kumaraguru Engineering College campus in Saravanampatii to treat Covid patients.
