Complete lockdown: Police intensifies surveillance in Pollachi area bordering Tamil Nadu and Kerala
Coimbatore: A complete curfew has been imposed across Tamil Nadu from today till May 24 as per recommndations of doctors, to curb the impact of Covid-19 across Tamil Nadu.
Vehicle surveillance has been intensified across the 13 border areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala due to complete lockdown being enforced in both states. In both states, police have allowed only vehicles carrying essential items.
Major roads including Central Bus Stand, New Project Road, Coimbatore Road and Udumalai Road wear a deserted look without traffic. Public are being allowed only on two-wheelers to buy essential items.
