AIADMK Pollachi Jayaraman and Valparai Amul Kandasamy continue to lead in respective constituencies
Coimbatore: Even as the vote counting for Assembly elections gains momentum at the Government College of Technology (GCT) campus in Coimbatore, AIADMK candidate Pollachi Jayaraman was leading in the third round of the Pollachi Assembly constituency.
Currently, the results of the fourth round have been released showing AIADMK candidate Pollachi Jayaraman leading with 16,287 votes over DMK candidate Dr. Varadarajan (13,188) by a margin of 3099 votes.
Valparai
In the Valparai Assembly constituency, AIADMK candidate Amul Kandasamy is currently in the lead after the second round of vote counting with 7297 votes. He is ahead of Arumugam, the Communist Party of India candidate allied with DMK (1,239 votes) by a margin of 1058 votes.
