Fines levied for vehicles carrying large numbers of people in violation of Coronavirus regulations near Kinathukadavu
Coimbatore: As coronavirus infection is on the rise in Tamil Nadu, as a precautionary measure various restrictions have been imposed on the transport of people in buses and other vehicles.
Accordingly, the Revenue Department conducted vehicle inspections in Veerappagavundanur, Sokkanur and Singaiyanputhur areas in Kinathukadavu today.
Village administration officials led by Kinathukadavu Revenue Inspector Ramraj were involved in the vehicle inspection. Revenue officials then fined and raided a jeep in Veerappagavundanur which carried more than 15 people in violation of Coronavirus prevention measures.

Similarly, in the Singaiyanputhur area, the Revenue Department imposed fines on auto and cars with extra passengers.
