Widening and tar road laying work undertaken at a cost of ₹4 crore in Kinathukadavu

The State Highways Department started widening the 5.2 km narrow road from Kinathukadavu - Chikkalampalayam to Singayanputhur at a cost of Rs 4 crores.


Coimbatore: The State Highways Department started widening the 5.2 km narrow road from Kinathukadavu - Chikkalampalayam to Singayanputhur at a cost of Rs 4 crores. This work of widening followed by laying a tar is being undertaken for the last 3 months.



The road has now been widened after removing the occupants on both sides. The work of laying the tar road on the widened road is undertaken at full swing today.

According to the State Highways Department, the road is being widened and tar road is being built due to various accidents that happened in the narrow area.
