'Ko' Director and cinematographer K.V. Anand no more
Director and cinematographer K.V. Anand (54)died early on Friday morning in Chennai following a cardiac arrest.
He made his debut as a cinematographer with the Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath starring Mohanlal, for later on various films in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. His debut film won him the National Film Award for Cinematography .
With an experience of over a decade as cinematographer, Anand made his directorial debut with the 2005 movie Kana Kandaen and later Ayan starting actor Surya which was a major commercial hit.He went on to helm films like Ayan, Ko, Maattrraan, Anegan, Kavan and Kaappaan.
