Revenue Department Officials at the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border in Coimbatore were sent back people who didn't have E Pass
Coimbatore: As the second wave of Covid-19 infection is spreading in Tamil Nadu, the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued various restrictions to prevent Covid-19 infection in Tamil Nadu.
It has also been announced that E-pass will be mandatory to come to Tamil Nadu from Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh as a preventive measure.
As a result, the Revenue Department is conducting intensive vehicle inspections on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.
Accordingly, Revenue Officer Ramaraj conducted an intensive search today along with Officials including Vimal, Madhukannan, Paneerselvam near the Veerappagaundanur are which is on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border near.
During the search, the officials checked fir E Pass for all vehicles coming from other states. While the allowed people with E Pass to enter the border, people who failed to produce E-pass were not permitted in.
