Police Officials fine around 350 people so far for violating Covid-19 regulations.
Coimbatore: As the Covid-19 infection is on the rise in the Kinathukadavu areas, the health department is taking serious preventive measures in the affected areas.
In this situation, the Kinathukadavu police and the revenue department are engaged in intensive surveillance.
Accordingly, the Kinathukkadavu police officials today raided the Kinathukkadavu bus stand, bus stop, RS Road, Chikkalampalayam and various other places. During this raids and vehicle inspection both in the mornings and evenings a fine of Rs 200 is being imposed along with a new mask.
Police officials have also been telling the public how to stay safe during the pandemic. The officials have fined around 350 people for not wearing masks in the Kinathukadavu area so far.
Similarly, the Revenue Department headed by Revenue Officer Ramaraj inspected many areas including Kinathukkadavu, Vadaputhur and Chikkalampalayam during which 3 shopkeepers were fined for violating government covid restrictions.
