District Collector Innocent Divya said that " TamilNadu Government has made E Pass mandatory for people from Karnataka and Kerala to enter TamilNadu. This is also being monitored by officials at various checkpoints."
She the said that, "Child Marriage have increased recently in The Nilgiris as the schools are closed due to Covid-19. We have stopped around 5 child marriages this week. Lawful actions will be taken against those who are involved in child marriages." Said The Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya.
