Senthilkumar (43) is a farmer who hails from Semmandampalayampudur near Karumathampatti in Coimbatore.
On April 27, while staying at their farm, his son requested Senthilkumar to teach swimming. Hence, Senthilkumar took his son to a well in the farm and taught his son to swim.
In between teaching his son to swim, Senthilkumar suddenly was unable to breathe and started to drown into the well. On seeing his dad struggle, Senthilkumar's son called for help.
People in the nearby areas arrived immediately and tried to help Senthilkumar. But unfortunately during the recovery process, Senthilkumar lost his life.
Karumathampatti police officials were informed about this incident and upon arriving at the scene they recovered Senthilkumar's body and sent it to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.
Police officials have filed a case regarding this incident and are investigating further about it.
