Special medical camp in Kinathukadavu area due to increase in Covid-19 infections
Coimbatore: Coimbatore district has been hit by the sweeping second wave of Covid-19, and to combat the spread of infections the Health Department has insisted on conducting a special medical camp in any area where even three people have been confirmed to have contracted the Covid-19 virus.
With more Covid-19 cases confirmed in the Kinnathukadavu area during the past one week, Pollachi Collector Vaithiyanathan had announced that a special medical camp will be held in the area. Accordingly, the camp was held today at the Municipal Community Hall in Kinnathukadavu and similarly at the Mini Clinic in Karacheri.

The general public who arrived at the medical camp in Kinnathukadavu town were examined for symptoms of Covid-19 like fever and runny nose. Covid-19 testing has also been done for those with symptoms. Similarly, a medical camp was held in Karacheri where the general public was given medical check-ups and tablets.
