Heavy vehicle overturns on potholed road in Coimbatore; Coimbatore Corporation employees intensify road repair work
Coimbatore: Residents around Mill Road were shocked when a heavy vehicle overturned on the potholed road at the junction of Oppanakara Street in Mill Road, Coimbatore, two days ago. Corporation employees immediately removed the heavy vehicle and began repairing the road.
The accident took place due to a pit in the road caused by damage to the pipes installed underground. Traffic in the area came to a standstill.
Corporation employees are currently in the process of laying new giant pipes, and the work is done at night since the area bustles with traffic during the day.
