In an effort to control the spread of the virus, municipality officials have intensified spraying of disinfectants across Valparai. The municipal officials are now involved in identifying people who are violating Covid-19 safety guidelines.
Accordingly, the officials on Monday conducted an intensive inspection on Valparai main road and warned tea shop owners and public not to sit and eat at the shop. They also imposed a fine of Rs.100 on people who were walking on the roads without wearing masks.
