Coimbatore: Due to the surge in the infection rate of Covid-19, the state government has imposed a full lockdown on Sunday'salong with a night lockdown on weekdays. Being the first Sundaylockdown after the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic in India, more than 2000 shops including markets, shopping complexes, small stores and various other trade centers were seen closed in Valparai, Coimbatore as an impact of the curfew.
