DMK State Weavers Wing kick-starts drive to provide medical kits to 5000 families in each village of Pollachi
Coimbatore: DMK leader M K Stalin had strongly appealed to DMK executives that the people of Tamil Nadu need to be made aware of the Covid-19 impact and medical kits must be provided to all the poor, in light of the second wave of the pandemic that is devastating the nation.

Based on this appeal, a drive to provide medical kits to 5000 families has kick-started in Pollachi under the efforts of the DMK State Weavers Wing Secretary, Nagarajan. In the first phase, the DMK provided medical kits to the public at Jalathur village on Pollachi-Palakkad road.
Coimbatore South District DMK Officer, Thenral Selvaraj, MP Shanmugasundaram, Pollachi Assembly constituency DMK candidate, Dr. Varadarajan and many others were present at the event. The DMK said it would soon provide medical kits to all villages in the southern district of Coimbatore based on the appeal made by their leader Stalin.
