Public request authorities to reopen locked restrooms near New Market Complex in Valparai
Coimbatore: Over a thousand shops comprise the New Market Complex located in the central part of Valparai in Coimbatore and people working in these shops decided to facilitate paid restroom son behalf of the municipality at Gaggan Colony Road for their own convenience as well as for tourists.
Though more than a thousand people used these restroom facility, they were suddenly locked without any prior notice. This has caused inconvenience to people who used the restrooms regularly, especially travellers. It is reported that since the facility had been kept shut, it reeks of foul odour and could be a breeding ground for viruses, especially in the pandemic scenario. The public are demanding that the municipal administration should immediately restore the restroom facility and reopen them for public use.
