3,156 people have been vaccinated against Covid in Kinnathukadavu area in Coimbatore: Health officials
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government's concerted efforts to combat the second wave of Covid by urging people to be vaccinated is finally bearing impact. People in Coimbatore district are seen eagerly queuing up to their respective primary health centers and nearby Government hospitals for their vaccination against Covid.
As part of this drive, three primary health centers at Nallattipalayam, Sokkanur and Vadachittur in Kinnathukadavu area have been administering the Covid vaccines. Though the vaccination drive had come to a standstill last week owing to a shortage of Covid vaccines, vaccination is once again underway in full swing since Wednesday due to the availability of vaccine stock.
The Health Department stated that 3,156 people have been vaccinated against Covid in Kinnathukadavu area. Doctors have advised those interested in being vaccinated against Covid to directly visit the Nallattipalayam Primary Health Center in Kinnathukadavu.
