Coimbatore: The Government of Tamil Nadu is implementing various preventive measures as the second wave of Coronavirus is spreading across Tamil Nadu.

Anaimalai DSP Vivekanandan and Valparai Inspector Maheshwari and Health Department Dr Babu Lakshmanan chaired a consultative meeting with the business community led by Tasildhar Rajan in Valparai.

The businessmen were asked to adhere to the rules implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu to control the spread of infection.
It is announced to close all shops from 10 pm to 4 am and none of the public should leave the house. The officials also demanded that everyone must cooperate to implement a complete lockdown on Sunday.
The public must wear face masks and said that masks should not be sold at high prices in shops. Customers must wear a mask and buy products in stores. The first step is to impose a fine of 200 rupees on the public who do not wear face masks. Tasildhar Rajan said that for the second time, those who allow customers without face masks will be fined Rs 500 for customers and shops will be imposed Rs 5,000.

Also, it was decided that tourists will not be allowed in the Valparai area. People can enter the Aliyar check post after being inspected by the Forest Department, Health Department and Police. Residents of Valparai should bring the relevant documents to cross the check post.
