Coimbatore: The astrologer who was sentenced to 10 years in prison and fine in the Emu farm fraud case has surrendered.
Astrologer Easwaramoorthy, 50, who used to run Sri Sabari Aandavar Emu Poultry Financial Company on Kangayam Main Road, Tirupur, was sentenced by the Coimbatore TANFIT Court to 10 years imprisonment and fined Rs 15 lakh in 2012 for defrauding depositors of Rs 16 lakh in 2012.
