Tipper lorries collide head-on near in Kinathukadavu; Driver injured
Coimbatore: Driver injured as tipper lorries collide head on in Kinathukkadavu. Arumugam (38) is from Veerappagavundanur Ramar Kovil Road near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district. He was traveling from Singaiyanputhur stone quarry to No. 10. Muthur Road yesterday afternoon.
Then, another tipper lorry coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with the tipper lorry. The tipper lorry crashed into the front and Arumugam, who was in the truck, was seriously injured. He was rushed to Pollachi Government Hospital in an ambulance. There he was given first aid and later admitted to a private hospital in Sundarapuram for further treatment. Kinnathukadavu police have registered a case against lorry driver Karthik and are investigating.
