Coimbatore Actors' Association pays homage to Vivek by planting candles and planting 59 trees on behalf of his memory.
Coimbatore: Famous comedian and tree conservation activist, Vivek passed away suddenly due to ill health. The late actor Vivek was mourned not only in Tamil Nadu but all over the world with many of them paying tribute to him.
According to the Coimbatore District Actors' Association, an event was organised today to pay homage to actor Vivek. This was held at the Aathupalam Popular Complex under the chairmanship of Sahul.
Kuttipuli fame actor Rajasimhan, comedian Chaplin Balu and Vijay People's Movement student leader Babu were present as special guests.
A candlelight vigil was held to pay homage to the late actor Vivek's soul. Later on behalf of the actor's dream to plant one crore trees and to inspire the youth to plant more trees 59 trees were planted on the premises commemorative to his 59th birthday.
