Automatic sanitizer sprayers have been installed at two locations in Pollachi's Regional Transport Office premises to ensure public safety
Coimbatore:Pollachi and its surrounding areas are witnessing a spike in COVID-19 cases and hence the Pollachi Revenue Division and the Department of Health are actively introducing safety measures to prevent it from spreading further.
With hundreds of people thronging the Regional Transport Office on Udumalai Road in Pollachi every day, for various purposes like obtaining driving license, renewal etc, automatic sanitizer sprayers have been installed at two locations to ensure public safety. Arrangements have also been made at two spots in the office campus to click the photographs required to obtain a driver's license.
Similarly, only one person is allowed inside the office as per restrictions. Regional Transport Officer Muruganantham stated that preventive measures have been intensified at the Regional Transport Office.
