One stabbed to death by an inebriated man in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: A construction worker was stabbed to death in Coimbatore at midnight, causing a stir in the area.
Construction of a new building is underway at 9th Street, Gandhipuram, Coimbatore and many people from different towns are staying and working here. Moideen 37 from Virudhunagar and Durai, 60 from Trichy are also working as construction workers there and were given a room to stay there.
After a fight between the two last night they both went and consumed alcohol. The argument intensified in the midnight after they returned and Durai who was inebriated stabbed Moideen with a knife in anger. Moideen, who was fighting for his life covered in blood, was rescued by the neighbours and sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital. But he died miserably on the way.
The Kattoor police are searching for the culprit behind the murder. The incident has caused a stir in Coimbatore
