Forest Officials have continued to put out the forest fires that usually catch up during the summer. This year to get support Fire and Rescue Department officials gave an introduction to the Forest Officials along with volunteers.
A practice session took place at the Karatupathi area in Amaravathi Nagar near Udumalaipet in Tirupur. During the practice session, skills like putting out the fire in areas without water resources, especially during summer time. It was also advised to drivers to put out their smokes before throwing them away. They were also asked to avoid carrying inflammable products.
During the practice session many other ways to control fire spreading was discussed.
