Coimbatore: On behalf of the great leader Dr BR Ambedkar's 130th birth anniversary, members of Untouchability Abolishment Front, Youth and Student's Union members paid their respects to Ambedkar's statue in Kamarajapuram, North Coimbatore today.
Party members from Marxist, CITU, Tamil Nadu Untouchability Abolishment Front, Indian Democratic Youth Association and Indian Student's Union participated in the ceremony.
The event was organised by Coimbatore CITU EB Workers Association Head Palanisamy. At the event, Tamil Nadu Untouchability Abolishment Front Deputy General Secretary UK Sivagnanam, Senior Advocate Aarusami, SK Kanagaraj, CPM East member M Murugan and others were present.
