Traffic snarls in Valparai as car collides with Government bus
Coimbatore: A car collided with a Government bus in Valparai, Coimbatore district causing traffic disruption for about an hour. The car which was travelling downhill collided with a Gvernment bus that was moving uphill from the Stanmore junction. The rear of the car was damaged in the collision.
With the car stranded on the road, traffic had to be halted in the area. State Transport Corporation employees and the public intervened in the chaos that ensued and negotiated with the car owner, after which he agreed to have the car removed from the spot to aloow smooth flow of traffic on the road.
