According to industry sources, a meeting was held in Coimbatore this eveningwith the participation of various industry bodies to tackle the current situation of price hike and to government's attention towards this problem.
Industry sources said that a decision to participate in an one-day symbolic strike in Coimbatore could be held to realize the seriousness of the problem. Most industry organizations have expressed support to this. However the official information on this is expected to be released soon.
