Coimbatore: Around 267 shops were inspected for irregularities due to COVID-19 infection yesterday. Of these, 47 stores were found to have violated COVID-19 protocols and regulations.
Those shops were fined for violating rules and have collected Rs 46,500 so far. In addition, 246 people who did not wear face masks were fined Rs. 49,200 in total.
