Woman killed in head-on bike collision near Annur
Coimbatore: A 52-year old woman was tragically killed in an accident when the motorcycle she was riding on collided head-on with another motorcycle, near Annur.
Arumugam's wife Saraswathi (52) and son Ramkumar (30) who live in Vikramapalayam next to Annur, were headed from Coimbatore to Annur on a motorcycle on Sunday evening. At Milekal, their motorcycle collided head-on with another motorcycle. Both Ramkumar and Saraswathi were injured and rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Saraswathi who had been grievously injured succumbed to her injuries.
The police have registered a case against Dinesh (25) who was riding his motorcycle and had reportedly caused the accident when he collided head-on with Ramkumar's motorcycle.
