Rs. 5,96,156 collected in Valparai People's Court
Coimbatore: The People's Court was held today across cities in India. In Valparai, Coimbatore district, Judge Kavita presided over the People's Court held at Valparai court today.

Rs. 2 lakh was collected for cheque fraud cases, Rs. 1,51,500 for alimony cases and in motor vehicle minor cases, Rs. 20,000 was collected. For transaction of money cases, Rs. 2,24,656 was collected by the court. In total, Rs. 5,96,156 was collected by the court.
A total of 60 cases were taken up for hearing and 58 people appeared, of which 12 cases were concluded on the spot.

Advocates Viswanathan and Murugan took the lead. Attorneys Perumal, Palpandi, Muthusamy, Sivasubramaniam, Sumathi, Anbunagarajan, Chief Secretary of the court Manoharan, volunteers Murthy and Muniyandi were present today.
