Adding to this, the price of thread has been skyrocketing which could leave lakhs of workers unemployed. I had written two letters to the Union Textile Minister but no action has been taken regarding it. The Government must curb hike in cost of quality threads from government mills and distribute it across Tamil Nadu on an urgent basis," reiterated MP Subbarayan.
He also opined that the Governor of Tamil Nadu was acting against democracy by appointing Vice Chancellors before before a newly elected government is set up. "The two murders of VCK party members in Arakkonam is also because of political vengeance," he added.
