Kinathukadavu police officials find boy who went missing in Kovilpalayam area

8 year old boy Jaswanth went missing in Kovilpalayam area near Kinathukadavu.


Coimbatore: Satish Kumar, an auto driver from Kovilpalayam area near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district, handed over the boy to the Kinathukadavu police station this afternoon after he went to Pollachi for during a ride and saw a boy walking alone near the Mullupadi area. Sathish Kumar who spoke to the boy got suspicious as the boy answered in a mysterious way.

Later, when the Kinnathukadavu police officials interrogated the boy, he did not give any answer. They further investigated at many places about the boy's parents and his village. During the search cops found a woman near Kovilpalayam village who was on the lookout for his son.

When the police questioned the woman, it was revealed that she was the mother of a boy who was wandering alone on the road.

Following the police investigation, it was revealed that the woman's name was Priya and she was working in a private spinning mill in Kinathukadavu area and was living with her son and daughter after separating from her husband due to a disagreement.

In this situation, while washing clothes in the Kovilpalayam bridge area today, it was revealed that her 8 year old Jaswanth suddenly went missing. She was then looking for him.

Police later found the boy's mother at the scene of the boy's disappearance and later handed the boy over to his mother, Priya.

The handover incident by the Kinathukadavu police officials has been appreciated by the public.
