Covid-19 treatment is given by post graduate students at the Coimbatore Government Hospital.
Coimbatore: About 150 medical students are there at the Coimbatore Government Hospital who have finished their MBBS and are currently doing their masters.
Most of them are from other states and districts and hence they are staying at the government hostels for studying.
Meanwhile, due to the rise of Covid-19 virus in Coimbatore many of them arrive at the Coimbatore Government Hospital for treatment. Hence these post-graduate students are deployed in treating them.
These students are now protesting in front of the Dean's room for the second day alleging that they have not been given proper food and other facilities like seperate rooms.
