The EVM's from the 3 constituencies are separately kept in 3 different rooms and has been sealed.
The Nilgiris: District Collector Innocent Divya in a statement said, "EVM's used in the 3 assembly constituencies of Coonoor, Ooty and Gudalur (Independent Constituency) have been retrieved and is now safely sealed and kept at the Fingerpost Government Polytechnic College.
"This was done in front of the public spectators and candidates. The EVM's from the 3 constituencies are separately kept in 3 different rooms and has been sealed," she added.
Further speaking, The Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya said, "There are 102 cameras fixed around the storage room facility which will be watched on a 3 shifts basis. Also, Central Police Officials will be giving the first level of protection followed by the local police in the second and third levels."
District Collector also informed that a separate tent gas been out up for people on behalf of the candidates to monitor the ongoing security.
